    Morning Meimei

I'm sure you'll find something to do even with out VBC. I have several baby quilts I need to get done but it's just too hot to quilt. I have been scrapbooking though. I've done about 10 pages in the last 2 days.

Time for the quilt show. It just mesmorizes Adam. He loves all the bright colors and the music

Hi Karla, I just love going to the house each day to see what they've done. Probably driving the sales gals crazy at this point At least I'm not there complaining. Just looking at the house and eating cookies.

You and Meimei are going to have so much fun on your trip.

Good morning, it looks to be another hot day. I went and did my Monday workout and I'll probably go to Costco to pick up a few things before it gets hot. I asked Jimmie if she wants to go out to lunch today, since Saturday was her birthday and we didn't want to leave the house for dinner in that heat.

I have a ride at 5:30 tonight. Yeah, I know it will be hot, but the ride is short and slow (12 miles), and we stop at a fruit stand/bake shop for treats. It's always cooler riding back. It's the only ride we do for beginners, and I'm one of the few more experienced riders there to provide encouragement and support.
Have bicycle, will ride. Finished 2012 with 10,089 miles, 683 hours, and 482,000 feet of elevation gain.
So far in 2013: 4068 miles, 272 hours, 267K feet.

Re: The Belles, Beasts, and Beaus ~ La Dolce Vita, How Sweet it Is

I'm currently in the process of trying to adjust my attitude. I know it needs adjusting. Our trip to Bonfante has been cancelled today since it's supposed to be 107 in Gilroy today. I wish I could get something done around here (a big project) since I have all this extra time, but it's just too stinking hot. We'll do homework and I have the shopping to do today and maybe I'll try and get some small things done around here. Then maybe it won't feel like I've wasted three days in a row. Did get some vaccuuming done this morning before 8, but then it was 80 in the house so I had to stop.

Stitch sorry you don't get to go Bonfante today. Don't think of it as wasting 3 days think of it as relaxing.

At least you don't have a little one unfolding all of the laundry

I'm trying to get vaccuuming done before 10. So far I'm failing. It's all MiceChat's fault!

    I found something to do...

DD3 and I are going to the Boardwalk with our friends. I'm only staying a couple of hours and DD3 will stay until about 2:00. I can't be at the Boardwalk that long...believe it or not, it is just not my thing! LOL! It should be cooler down by the ocean.

Right now we (DD3 and I) are working on a scrapy quilt to send to Mexico with the mission trips. My quilting group did a lot of quilts for children affected by Katrina. Now we are making quilts for a women and children's home in Tecate, Mexico. This is the same group that my knitting group sends scarves and hats to in winter. This fabric is more user friendly for me, Sesame Street and ABC's

I am so far behind in my scrapbooks...I don't even want to think about it.

Exciting news about the house! WooHoo!
    Boo!

I know. I'm just in a mood. Don't mind me. It should pass soon (I hope). I think it's just the heat. I'm tired of feeling like a sweat ball. We rescheduled Bonfante for Thursday so we will get to go. True I have a big one who puts her laundry away!

I'm really behind in the scrapbooks also. I'm currently working on Adam's baptism pics and he was just 2 months old when that happened We haven't even printed any pictures for about 8-9 months and I've got a huge box full.

My parents come home on Wed so I guess I have until then to clean up the mess we've made of their house. I did vacuum the steps and clean out the fridge but don't tell my mom about that one.
