    Karla...have her watch The Breakfast Club so she can learn how to dance 80's style!!! But you might want to watch it with her so you cna fast forward past the parts you don't want her to see!

    pumps, with little socks

    belted blouses

    miniskirts

    BIG hair

    BIG Bangs

    (tease the heck out of them!!!!)

    AQUANET, the accessory for every 80's bag

    Dangleing ear rings (or BIG hopes)

    ya know BIG seemed to be very important in the 80's

    Shoulder pads...

    like others have suggested, watch the brat pack movies (16 candles, Breakfast club, Pretty in pink... ) for insperation...

    you guys are a great big help. I am taking her to the thrift store today as I think I can do it all there she is as excited as I am because we really were confused last night when she needed the info. I love that I you guys helped me out!

    Wow, see I dressed a little like this in the 80's but the late 80's I was all about Metal! Skin tight jeans with holes in the knees and backside, black Metallica concert tees (pre Black album of course), black leather jacket, and black leather boots.
