She got the cooles of things today at the clothing drive. she loved them and is now going to be wearing them to school. a jean jacket coat thats dow below her knees, and nice slim jeans brand new!! she got the big beltsand big sweaters. yep she is now in the 80's

OMG What a great thread. Don't forget the big hair Karla. Here's what you do...
Take the curling iron and your going to curl the bangs up and down. Part the bangs in half, take the top half and curl it up, spraying it with half a can of hairspray to make sure the thing doesn't move. (You should have trouble taking the iron out of her hair)
Then take the bottom portion of the bangs and do the same thing. If the hair looks like someone could take a surfboard to it, you did it right.
Get her a Rubik's cube and a fanny pack too!
Leggings yes, long shirts with the belt on top.
A lot of what I see now is 80s stuff coming back
Tight jeans were in in the 80s too but you'd wear bulkier tops with shoulder pads, but I hated shoulder pads and cut all of mine out.
I'd crimp my hair for special occasions, or was that early 90s? Was the flourescent clothes trend early 90s or late 80s? I get confused there.

So I was watching an episode of "How I Met Your MOther" on CBS and there was a storyline where one of the characters was a former Canadian Teen Pop Star and they created a whole myspace page for her. THe outfits are totally 80s!! You should check it out!
