Photofinish: Next time you are in Sephora, ask for a free sample. The small amount they give you will last for a while. I have always wanted to try the green version to help with the redness in my cheeks, but I am a little leery of it.

Automatic shower spray. I use mine with an OXO squeege. Works really well.

You should try my Hope in a Bottle this weekend. So much better than HiaJ.

Thanks for the heads up on the Pop shadows. I have always wanted to get one but they are soooo expensive.

I know a lot of people like this one, but the Cover Girl Lash Exact mascara was awful. It flaked & got in my eyes! I've never had a mascara do that before. Because so many people liked it, I gave it another try thinking I may have just gotten a bad batch. Nope. The second one did the same thing. :

I actually like the automatic shower cleaner- I notice my shower gets grungy if I run out, plus it makes the bathroom smell clean.

As for slim fast, it works well if you stick to it like PB said, 2 for meals and then one sensible real meal. It works because each shake has 180 calories, so it helps control them. I keep them on hand when I know I won't have time to eat, or if I want to avoid being tempted by something fattening. They definitely take will power! Oh yeah, and I agree with the coffee flavored ones, ICKY!!!!!

As for products not working, I am not a fan of Mary Kay in general. They have a few products I like, but for the most part, I am not impressed.

Ughhhhh.. Avon chapstick.. it's like flavored crisco in a tube. Gross.

I've never tried the Slim-fast, just becasue I know that there will be a time when I want to NOT be having Slim-fast for 2/3 of my day and I don't want to gain all the weight back.

I also don't like the Vollum' Express Mascara... the one with two ends. It's gross and clumpy and looks like spider legs.

I would like to end on a positive note: I love MAC's PlushGlass... it gets my pucker nice and plump and has the best taste. <3

    That's my 2.5 cents

I think Dior's "DiorShow" mascara is overrated. I was really excited to try it, as I'm always trying to find the perfect mascara. It was too glossy and clumpy. *sigh* It was back to Loreal's voluminous, which I've used for years. At least I know what to expect.

hmmm, I can't sympathize with ya'll's makeup woes..cause I wear the cheap stuff. I'm addicted to makeup and nail polish, so, buying the expensive stuff would land me in the poor house. But, something that was bad? Proactive. That stuff did not work and gave me the only acne scars I have ever gotten. Bad stuff. Bad.

Bare Escentuals lip gloss - It smells and tastes totally gross and the consistency is thick and goopy.

ProActiv - It bleached everything my face touched, including my towels and my silk duvet cover.

I am sure there is more as I am a beauty product hussy!

That was the first mascara I tried at Sephora. I was hoping that for that price it would be the most perfect mascara ever. Not so much. I did return it as quickly as possible. I Sephora's return policy.

Hee, I love that best! Tastes good, colors your lips and you DON'T have to have a mirror to put it on. I've never found anything else that is all 3 at once!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Anything bobbie Brown. It makes me break out!

And I love the crest whitestrips! Just don't use them every day, use them every other day, or 3rd day and then your teeth won't be as sensitive. It's not near as bad as having the dentist do it. That hurts!

Re: Beauty Products That Don't Work

I had seen commercials for the Revlon Lip Sugar stuff that is supposed to make your lips all shiny and pretty. SO I bought some and it wasnt cheap! Needless to say, it is not all that the commercial makes it out to be. I thought it was going to be a lip gloss type thing, it is a wand that is in a little container and I am guessing that you put it over your gloss and that is how it works, but it doesnt seem to be working for me. I hate when you see something that looks like it should be fabulous and it is not. If anyone has bought this and it works for them PLEASE let me know!!!!!

Any Oil of Olay product, at leats on me, burns my skin. I suspect I'm against the grain here, Bare Esscentuals products do not do it for me.

I can't use Oil of Old Lady, makes me break out. I also tried the "cheap" pink maybelline mascara. Its rated #1 I think. I can't use it. It felt like I had stuff in my eyes all the time and made them sore. None of the soaps that are supposed to prevent break outs work for me either. I think I just have weird skin.

I also can't use chapstick with sunscreen, I get a rash around my lips. Weird.

    It's always me
