want a pink streak in your hair for a good cause?

I just got a hot pink hair extension put in my hair this morning with a friend.

It's to help for costs for this little girl http://www.caringbridge.org/cb/input...me=parisalvino who has to make trips to NY for her cancer treatment.
My little extension was $10, and my friend and I left a big tip too. They even accept donations without getting the extension.
The shop is called Rose of Sharon, and it's in Redlands.

PS Forgive the unwashed hair, I put in 30 hours the past three days at a florist- one day was 16 alone! The people making flowers did 20 hours that day)

I would SO do this! I wish I lived down there. I am making a donation anyway! It's for an amazing cause. Thanks for the link!

That's so awesome. I've actually had pink hair extensions in my hair before so I would do this in a heartbeat if I lived down there. Can we still make a donation even if we don't get the hair?

Maybe you could put it in when you had a few days off. They're pretty easy to get out of your hair!

I believe this donation goes to the website, to keep it running not to the little girl. Is that correct?

I've had a head of pink hair before so one streak would be no big for me. I just can't dye my hair rainbow colors anymore due to my job.

ah, man, it would suck having a job that pays crap and has the nerve to put restrictions on your appearance.

If I had hair at this time, I'd put in a Pink Streak for her.
Hmm.....how far does she travel for her Cancer Treatments? I travel 100 miles round trip for mine....
