Do you have a goal for this summer?

Mine is to read the entire Redwall series by Brian Jacques the way it was intended to be read, in the order the books were published. I've already finished two (Redwall and Mossflower) and started on Mattimeo this morning. I'm nearly done. I should finish that tomorrow and then I've got at least 12 more to read in the series before it's 'done'.

So that's my goal for this summer. What's yours?

Is this the same "redwall" as those cartoon on Saturday mornings?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

I read them Redwall books when I was like twelve. The end of "Redwall" made me tear up! Stopped reading after the latest one about a badger was published. Lord something.

I plan on finishing my copy of "The Da Vinci Code" that my friend bought me For XMAS... and also losing about five-ten pounds. Getting off the Depo should help with that. August is too far away!

And yes there was a series based on three of the books (Redwall, Mattimeo and Martin the Warrior) that ran on PBS on Sat and Sun mornings a few years ago. I don't know if the series continued on Canadian TV or what, but after Martin the Warrior, PBS didn't carry it anymore.

I have a laundry list of goals for the summer. With Friday's off, I hope to get a lot accomplished:

    1. Spend quality time with the kids
    2. Reorganize the kitchen
    3. Clean the carpet
    4. Unload books into new bookcases
    5. Reread Wicked before seeing the musical
    6. Try to lose some weight
    7. Try not to overbook my time (June and July are already completely booked, give or take one weekend)
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

May the Gumballs Be with You...Always.

    NO GOATS!

    Summer, what's that?
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

Wow GC that is a lot to do! All I need to do is lose weight and that is killing me. When! Just reading your list is making me tired (which just goes to my laziness which is why I need to loose weight)

Stop being lazy and start losing.
    We'll see if that happens!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
