Sephora Rant/Question

UGH!!!!!!!

I have been waiting since my birthday to make an order with Sephora, but the thing I wanted most has been out of stock since then. They were supposed to email me when it came in, but I just checked and it's in- but no email!

So I ran to get my card to make the order and then I looked in my basket and found the other thing I really wanted is now out of stock!



I am sick of waiting!!

So I found another set that looks good. Should I get it or wait for what I originally wanted?

I am getting the smokey eye kit (which is what I was originally waiting for).
And I was going to get the Shake Your Tail Feather kit but it is now out of stock.

So which is better-
Crown Jewels
Shake your tail feather

I like that the Feather one has mascara and the gold lash thing and I love ALL of the colors.

But I also like that the Jewel one has a liner (which I have never tried) and the brush and I love shimmers.

Help.

I might. But it will have to wait since it's out of stock. I am just wondering if I should wait or get this. I just don't have a very big budget for this kind of thing.

If you absolutely cannot wait, I say go for it. But if you can hold out a little longer, wait and get the one you really want, what you really really want.

That's the thing though, I think the Jewel one is pretty cool too. So I thought I'd come to the experts and ask if there is one you guys think is better than the other.

I have shake your tail feather and I love it. I have been eying crown jewels, but I don't think i will get it. I have both brushes and I would not wear the onyx eye shadow. I get soft black.

Thank you for letting me know smokey eyes is back in stick. I didn't get the email and my daughter wanted that kit. I love it...

You know I have had NO LUCK online or in the Sephora stores. They do not carry half the products I really want. I waited for a long time for the BE powder that was NEVER in stock in their store or online. I just went straight to the BE brick and mortar and paid what I would have IF Sephora had it. I also had to go the the Online Philosophy store for products that Sephora and Ulta do not carry. OMG LOVE the Philosophy shaving lotion. Silky Smooth Legs and NO CUTS. It is called Razor Sharp, I got it for my husband, but of course...I took it for myself after trying it. HA! So yeah - I totally feel your pain on the whole waiting for your FAV stuff at Sephora...just walk away and get it at the BE store. It costs the same

Since we're on the topic of Sephora... I heard they are coming out with a card that you can collect points on every time you shop. I wish I had one starting from last year. I'd have so many points on that thing!!

They have the peacock collection at the BE site. the gold mascara can be bought separate. It does not make your lashes gold at all. It just puts a hint of gold glitter on them. I use it on occasion, bit not daily.

I was going to suggest contacting the BE store to see if they have the kit. Shake Your Tailfeather looks like a fantastic deal! I think you should get it.

I like that Peacock kit except it doesn't have the gold mascara. And I ilke dhte other bag cause it matches my purse but who wouldn't love a peacock bag??

I am going to call- I don't see the other things I want but maybe they just aren't on the site.

Another place to look is QVC's website. Sometimes they have exclusives they don't carry at Sephora or Ulta.

QVC is having a Bare Escentuals day June 15th or 16th I believe.

TP, I've never ordered from the Sephora website, so I'm sorry you're having such problems with it. I think the other gals are giving you good ideas-order from the BE website. I hope you can get the kits you want!
