Amen. I once got YELLED at because I called my dad gay. He had been happy at the (rare) moment and I pointed it out....only used the word gay. He wasn't gay after that.
I like to find my gay men at Rejuvenations, a store dedicated to several dozens of thousands of square feet of knick knacks, lighting fixtures, and antique furniture. Them are some classy gay men!
