Okay, i know we had a thread about it before but i need to rant.
For Christmas i got a giftcard with money only to be used for bras from my mum.
Now i have been needing bras for awhile, it's like i'm growing over night and it's awful lol. I'm a 38D.
I began my quest in my favourite store, Victoria's Secret. I looked through everything, trying to find cute ones with like lace and prettyness. I found nothing in D's that were cute like the A's and B's and C's.
So naturally, i got really frustrated and asked the woman to see all the D's.
She gave me one drawer, with only black, nude, and white. I was like... "This is it?" she just looked at me and walked away.
So i got pissed and just left.
I then proceeded to Belk, where i found some cute ones, but they are plain colours, nothing fancy. Then the ones that were fancy, had really THICK straps, NO. So then i found some IZOD ones that were really cute with thin straps but they were like $60 a pop, NO.
so i settled for Maidenform, a pink one, and a black one. They were $20 each with regular straps. But the thing that gets on my nerves is that women with bigger busts have to spend more than smaller busted women to have the sexy, pretty, lacey numbers that most women [imo] are drawn to.
I even tried Lane Bryant, but theirs were cute, but expensive.
Or maybe i'm just being cheap.. i don't know. But i whined to my mum about it and i blamed her and said it was her fault and she just chuckled and said they'd only get bigger.

HELP.


EDIT: oh and what's up with all the padding these days? I mean, if you have a D-sized chest, you do NOT need padding.

No i mean like a lot of padding, like at the bottom of the cup, as if they need a lift, then really thick padding along the rest. I mean, lining is enough they don't need to take so far as to pad it like crazy.

What TO DO And What NOT TO DO With Gourds:

The Lane Bryant bras are really nice. Just go try one on. I was shocked at the difference. You do have to pay more when you need more support, unfortunately.

Oh no, it has nothing to do with being young! I've always had to deal with it and I still hate it. Also, the bras aren't as nice looking either. All the cute ones are As and Bs.

yep, all the pretty ones are for smaller gals, and thats ashame. LAne bryant is where i get mine to, 35.00 a pop. oye
