Favorite flower arrangement?

So we all know how nice it is to get flowers (and for those of us who have been with the same guy for a while, we know that it doesn;t happen anymore)

So if your special guy wanted to surprise you with the *perfect* arrangement of flowers, what would it consist of?

For me, and yes, I am being cheesy and lame, it would be roses. But peach roses with veins of red in them mixed with fire and ice roses (they are white on one side of the petal and red on the other. I also love a little ivy and a few white lilly's thrown in to fill it out. But I haven't gotten flowers since I got married.

A bundle of wildflowers.

Sunflowers.

A single red rose.

Gerbera daisies.

Those are the ones I like.

OH, I love flowers! And DQ - I can sympathize...J used to give me a single rose most every week way back when....and now...it's only on birthdays and special occassions...if that.

My choice would be roses...and any color/kind really. But, any flowers are wonderful! (except for carnations).

I adore daisies, but nothing is more romantic than roses. Nothing! I don't see anything cheesy or lame about that. No man has ever bought me flowers before, except for my dad, and in my silly little romantic daydreams, the perfect man has always come bearing roses.

Red and yellow mixed bunch. It doesn't matter what type of flowers, as long as he gets the colors right. It is what he first brought me when I picked him up from the airport the morning before our first date. Those flowers lasted longer than any arrangement.

When we did the bouquet toss at our wedding, the flowers were red & yellow with a red and yellow ribbon binding them together. We wanted to pass along our good fortune of finding each other.

These days, I am lucky to get flowers.

Daisys and sunflowers. Like roses also, the rust/orange/red colored ones (even used those as the centerpieces at my wedding) BUT after 15 yrs with the same guy, I NEVER GET FLOWERS ANYMORE! Actually bought myself a bunch of daisy's the other day and my husband was like, oh those are nice- you deserve it!

I just told J how all of us are complaining that us girls don't get flowers any more. He said, "Well, we boys don't get anything either".
I replied, "I'll send YOU flowers then.".
In which he responded, "Nah, how about a big screen tv?".

I simply glared.

my bf used to send me flowers every week, sometimes 2x a week, now that we've been living with each other...not so much. but when he does, it's lilies. lots of big, beautiful lilies. he knows me so well!

In all of the years, we've been together, I think I've gotten flowers maybe 5 times total... Greg's just not a flower person (giving them that is).

My dream bouquet would be very simple, but beautiful... tulips, roses and lilies. My favorite flowers...

Amen to that one Morri! I brought my hubby (then my fiance) flowers once because I heard guys like to get them and he looked at me so wierd. I had to pretend they were for me and not him. Getting flowers did not make him feel special.
