I can SO see your point on the public bathroom washing... yeah.. it might be an at-home thing. I imagine that it's not top hard to rinse blood off of something that's plastic. I'm sure you could use Dove soap or another gentle cleanser if you're worried about it.

They do have disposable ones by another company, but that kinda of kills the "green" arguement.

The re-usable pads probably work just like a washable diaper, with out the... baby poop part. It would be just like washing your undies, I'd assume.

To live would be an awfully big adventure.

K, I'm speaking out in defense

You don't empty them in public bathrooms cause you only have to change them every 12 hours

They are uber comfy because they rest higher...up...if u get my drift

You really don't have to worry about spillage once you know what to do.

I was really curious because I didn't like all the traditional things we use. So I bought a pack of insteads and I save them. tThey are very helpful for, for example, Disneyland trips...I mean, who wants to toat a bunch of tampons to the park, or wear a pad so they can't ride water rides.

it is much better for the enviroment because you rise, not drown, and wipe it down well.

    anyone have any questions?

and btw, you know how everyone dreads the ol' peroid on a wedding night thing....well, these are very cool, they are so...well high again....that you can do some consumating with it.

I hope that wasn't too grown up, but I figure if your intrested in this thing, you know where babies come from...

btw, those seasponges are VERY unsanitary. They don't clean out well and harbor mucho bacteria.

I doubt they would last 12 hours for me....maybe when I'm on BC, but not when I'm not.

don't read if you don't want TMI
    Spoiler
when I'm not on BC a super plus tampon lasts maybe 20 to 30 minutes when they are suppose to last 2 to 4 hours.

Isn't a sea sponge technically an animal?!

"Although silk sea sponges are harvested, they are done so in a sustainable and responsible fashion. The sponges are completely natural and biodegradable. They are not treated with any chemicals or bleach, so you will need to boil your sea sponge before you use it the first time. A package of 2 sea sponges will cost between $7 and $12 and can be reused for up to 8 months.

You'll never look at boiling water the same way again.

To live would be an awfully big adventure.
