Fans may soon see a whole lot more of Hollywood hottie Johnny Depp.

The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory star reckons his next film should be a porn, German magazine Gala has reported.

The 42-year-old has played a string of quirky roles, including Peter Pan author J.M.Barrie in Finding Neverland and gothic anti-hero Edward Scissorhands and is currently starring as a creepy incarnation of Willy Wonka in Chocolate Factory.

Now Depp - fearing he may be typecast as the token weird guy - says starring in a porn might just save him from a career nosedive.

"These kind of characters are not so far from my own personality, but I don't want to become typecast as an eccentric," he said.

"Maybe next time I should do something totally different and film a cracking porn with Tim (Burton). That would really send my popularity down to the depths."

I heard about this the other day and as much as I enjoy him as an actor, honestly, the last thing I truly wanna see is him naked in a porn. Keep your pants on Johnny!

I have to admit that there is a nasty little part of me that would love to see this, but overall I know I'd be disappointed since porn is just not very fun ( or *exciting* ) to watch IMHO. The making out part of porn is nice though....god how hot would that be?

OK, that should about do it for me. My verdict is, don't even joke about it Johnny! You are too good for this. If you want to go against type play a total nerd and give the rest of us nerds some hope!
