    Happy Feet

Thank you Princess Butter Cup for making me wait for your Pedicure in Cabo....I finally had one done and my feet have never been happier.

Anyone else do this? Do you do it on a regular basis? How often?

    Re: Happy Feet

I've done it once, before my sister's wedding - so great. I've been talking about going again, just haven't.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

Isn't it the greatest? I get one every two weeks or so during the summer.

A pedicure? Or a pedicure in Cabo (as in Cabo San Lucas)??

I get a pedicure (in my hometown) every 3 weeks. It is one of my luxuries.

    Re: Happy Feet

I love getting pedicures, unfortunately my budget doesnt allow for them to happen on a regular basis.

during the summer I get a pedicure about every two weeks. What I love more than the pedicure is the massaging chairs they have you sit in while getting the pedicure.

    Re: Happy Feet

The chair was awesome.....but since I work on my feet most of the time, the massage was heaven!

Thinking maybe every 3 weeks....it was only $12.00 + tip, so I think I can swing that for Happy Feet!

How much does everyone else pay?

    Re: Happy Feet

I'll get one once or twice during the summer, but I usually try and do my own. I got some good products from Bath & Body Works for feet (Heel of Approval, Toe the line and shea it ain't so) and put 1-2 of those on per day (usually just heel and shea) and your feet will look and feel amazing.

I just need more nail polish. I think I have 1 color.

it's $20 where my parents live...mani's are only $10...and they do THE best job! I love going there for mani's. Here, I've paid $20 for a mani...and it was THE worst ever! He painted over my cuticles! eh. Pedi's are $40 everywhere I've looked.

You all get off cheap. It's $30 here, $35 with tip. But the whirpool tub that your feet soak in and all the pretty colors... totally worth. Every other month or so. I can't afford it sooner!

    Re: Happy Feet

I think I paid $18 last time. I don't go often, mostly for special occasions or to treat myself, but I do maintain at home as well.

I also have tickly feet and it took a looooong time to get used to the idea of someone else touching my feet. Needless to say, I got over it.

    Re: Happy Feet

I've been pedicures every month for the last 3 years. I got to a place around the corner from where I live (I usually just walk over there). It's Vietnamese owned, but they're so awesome. They take real good care of me since I've been a long time customer (free soda or bottled water and sometimes snacks). They do things I've never seen the "cheap" places do... like parafin wax, leg scrub, peppermint gel and wrapping your legs in a warm, damp towel. I get all that in my pedicure and it's only $20!

I usually go in the late morning on Saturday, then go to the deli/grill next door for lunch (they have the BEST burgers in town, along with some really good sandwiches... and Cheesecake Factory cheesecake!) before walking back home.
