Hey girls, have you ever worn a skirt or dress to the parks?

I have the cutest, lightest, easiest to wear skirts I picked up this summer and was wondering if I would be out of place if I wore them to DL. I have been looking at trip reports posted here, but it seems that people are either wearing shorts or long pants. I don't have the nicest legs for shorts and I think long pants would be too hot. But like I said, I have some cute skirts that I think look good on me.

So, would I look odd wearing a skirt to DL? Like someone out of the 50s? Or shouldn't I even care what people in the park think? Thanks for your advice.

I say, wear what you want and who cares what anyone else thinks.

Personally the only time Ive ever worn a skirt to the park was on Gradnight and that was 11 years ago.

I haven't but just because of how you have to sit sometimes and what not.

That's what I was thinking. Doesn't the Matterhorn have you sitting with a person between your legs? Are there any other rides that are weird like that?

I wear whatever I'm comfortable wearing.

I don't recall ever wearing a skirt to DL, but all my skirts are more work skirts.

Splash Mountain might be difficult too.

First off as long as your wearing something appropriate and comfy to you its OK. If you are a bigger gal like me please do not wear a mini-skirt and tummy bearing shirt, no reason to scare the children or other adults.

I have worn dresses and comfy skirts to the park and have never had a problem. Just make sure to tuck your dress on rides like the Matterhorn (where you can ride as a single) and you'll have no worries.

I've worn skirts to the park and had a date who wore a skirt. Everything was fine.

I'm all about skirts & dresses, but then again I don't really ride on the Matterhorn or Splash Mountain all that much these days with my toddler in tow. I wouldn't worry about feeling out of place because I do see quite a few dresses & skirts at DL.

I've worn a dress to DL before. But we didn't go on any rides - it was when I was there with my fiance for our engagement pictures.

Yeah, wear what you want. You'll have fun either way!

I've worn a skirt or dress a couple of times. Don't worry about feeling out of place.

I love wearing skirts to the parks. I actually think they're cooler than shorts or capris when it's a hot day.

I don't think you'll be out of place if you wear a skirt, just be careful on the rides. If you like it and it's comfortable for you to wear then just do it!

I've never done it, but then again, i'm anti-skirt/dress unless forced against my will.
