Johnny, you knock me out. That was a very funny and well written column. So tell me, what did the little lady think of the trip? Are you still sleeping on the couch?

Keep 'em coming.

I am off of the couch! She absolutely loved staying at the Poly, and it was by far the best experience We've ever had at a Disney Park.

I did have to enjoy your thoughts about the year of a million dreams when you called it, the year of really good customer service and I agree that making peoples dreams come true is what Disney should be doing every day, not just during a promotion.

Great report!

Were there any windows you could see out of in the suite or a balcony? Seems kind of claustrophobic.

I was going to ask the same thing.

Funny and interesting report! Thanks!

I was also wondering about the view from the castle windows.

I was impressed with the decor and amenities. Unlike the ugly Mickey Suite at Disneyland, I would really love to win a night in that castle suite!

One line forced me to report you to HUAC and Senator McCarthy:
"I found it kind of odd that they had installed a killer whirlpool bath, a handicapped accessible shower, a toilet/throne the size of a Buick and yet, no bidet."
No BIDET?
Son, you ain't from 'round these parts, are ya? Well maybe Mr. Fancy France needs a fountain to clean his rump, but good ol' Russian TP leftover from the USSR works for this 'Merican.

From what I understand and the pictures and video I've seen, there are stained glass windows, which let in the light, but things will be blurry.

Just a little pointer... It's "chaise longue", not "lounge".

Re: 2/8: The Suite Life

Stained glass did not provide a view (Looking out over Fantasyland), but apparently a window could be opened. Forgive the syntax, my spell check is a bit tempermental...

Please write more articles! Your article was based around a subject matter I vaguely cared about but I had no choice but to finish the read in its entirety. I enjoyed your double-fisting and cartmen jokes extensively, excellent writing, really top-notch.

Re: 2/8: The Suite Life

Great article, it was lots of fun reading too. I also happen to think you're "spot on" in your last paragraph. Disney should be doing this kind of stuff year-round, it's just good business with very little cost or overhead involved and yields free publicity and has a great return.
