To be honest, I am fine with Toy Story land. Yes Glacier Bay could have been so much better however, Toy Story land is the parks version of Toontown. I think it could work.

I love alot of things about Disney and the parks. I just semes that all most of those things have something to do with Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySEA, the two best themeparks in the world.
I have even said positive things about WDS... the park that has one of the best coasters in the world. I have also stated my love to DLPs design and rides many times... and I will again.
I will also say what I think is bad about Disney. When I see brooken AAs I point to their direction and say "broken!". Walt is one of my idols. He was a perfectionist. Is that ok with you?

When it comes to HKDL... nah... I can´t and wont pretend that I like the place just for having a Disneyland sign.

What you pick up and not isn´t anything that I can change. That has to do with YOU.

HK lawmakers discuss Disney expansion plan

HONG KONG (AP) — Hong Kong lawmakers said Saturday they would be unwilling to approve a plan to expand the city's Disneyland unless the government and Walt Disney Co. tell them how the theme park has performed since it opened in 2005.
Walt Disney and Hong Kong last week agreed to expand their joint venture, Hong Kong Disneyland, at a cost of 3.5 billion Hong Kong dollars ($450 million), in hopes of boosting the park's fortunes. Hong Kong lawmakers must approve the expansion before construction can begin.
The Burbank, California-based entertainment giant will put up all the new capital to cover the construction and operation costs during the building phases. Hong Kong will not inject any new money but will convert a large portion of the loan it provided to Disney for the construction of the original park, to buy more shares in the venture.
Nevertheless, the territory's total stake is expected to be diluted by the new expansion capital injected by Disney, from about 57 percent to 52 percent.
Scrutinizing the deal Saturday, lawmakers said the Hong Kong executive has not disclosed the park's attendance figures or told them how well it has performed in the more than three years since it opened. They said they needed to see more details of the expansion before they could vote Friday to approve or reject the plan.
"We have to decide whether to approve the commitment of this large sum as equity for the expansion of the park, but we have been given very little information. This is really depressing," said pro-government lawmaker Starry Lee.
Another lawmaker asked whether the government had thought about pulling out of the joint venture altogether.
"Has the government ever considered selling all its shares to Walt Disney?" asked opposition lawmaker Fred Li. "We'll forget about the money we've already lost. We can't put any more money into this bottomless pit."
Rita Lau, Hong Kong's commerce and economic development secretary, said it would be difficult to find investors to buy the government's share in the joint venture because of the park's "poor operating conditions." She did not elaborate.
The proposed expansion would add three new theme areas and 30 new attractions, enlarging the park by nearly a quarter over the next five years.
Hong Kong is also under pressure to increase the theme park's appeal to compete with a proposed Disneyland in Shanghai, which could open in the coming years, and would siphon off Chinese tourists.

I have to believe that Mystic Point will have a Haunted Mansion, Toy Story Land will become Pixar Land, with a mix of Bugs Land, Cars Land, and Toy Story Land, and I have to believe that Grizzly Trail will have Grizzly Bear Rapids.

-Toy Storyland would have Toy Story: The Ride (based on Ride and Go Seek, not Midway Mania).

-Tomorrowland would get a new version of Star Tours opposite Autopia and keeping with the Sci-fi City spaceport theme.

- Grizzly Gulch would be heavily expanded with a Stunt Theatre (with evolving shows, one possibly coinciding with WDP's Lone Ranger), an updated version of Western River Expedition with a Splash Mountain like splashdown into the lake.

- The most significant addition would be north of the tracks - a Fantasyland extension featuring a darker, more grown-up setting, and all original, non-film-based attractions. Dragon's Tower would borrow heavily from the project designed for Beastly Kingdomme. Quest for the Unicorn borrows a name from BK but is a POTC-like indoor flume through a fantasy adventure. Finally, Legends is a lighter, family omnimover through fairytales from around the world (similar in presentation to TDS' Sinbad).

I like your ideas, Randy...they are pretty much in line with what I would wish for this park.

I have long thought that the Beastlie Kingdomme attractions would be a good addition to either the Fantasyland of the Magic Kingdom in Orlando or to that of HKDL. I would prefer the Fantasia boat ride designed for BK instead of a Unicorn Quest ride, however.

I agree on having Western River Expedition for HKDL instead of Pirates. They could build a DisneySea style park for the second gate and have Pirates there. This would avoid having two great but similar attractions in the same park. In the meantime Shanghai DL would open and have Pirates before the HK resort, which is what the current plan seems to be.

I for sure like it alot. The only thing missing is a second attraction for Mystic Point

The bad thing is that there would not be any place to expand further.

With that in mind I think Disney should try to force in as much as tightly as possible to make as many rides fit as possible in future expansions.
