Toy Story Land is no worse than what they have for kids at Ocean Park. and yet it is the most crowded place in OP.

Hello there,

I think Disney should reconsider the proposed lands for the expansion plan. Disney should come up with some substantial attractions and not some small attractions like 'amazing guests with life-size toys'. Of the proposed rides, I suppose that is only one big scale ride that is Grizzily Mountain roller coaster.

I hope Disney is not 'playing around' with HKDL's expansion as HKDL have already attracted lots of fans, if this expansion plan is just to humour us guest, I do not think I will ever think of going to visit HKDL again. Please plan something big and exclusive for HKDL.(like Toy Story Mania, Haunted Mansion, etc)

I think we all should write in and show how much we don´t want Toy Story Land, atleast not the way it looks now. It is better to save the space for a future expansion or perhaps even a second ride for MP. Sooo much can be done, Toy Story is THE worst solution.

I was very specific in my letter, praising the idea of Grizzly and Mystic but smashing TSLand. I really think that grizzly and mystic are great ideas and we should not complain about these since Disney has been generous enough to give us E-Tickets. TSLand should be the only complaint i believe.

The news of Disneyland's expansion is what everyone has been waiting for, however a part of it is something that has caused an 'uproar' among Disney fans. I am mainly referring to this site: Hong Kong Disneyland Resort - MiceChat. Which is the biggest Disney fan-site on the web. You can clearly see in the many forum posts that many people are highly critical of the addition of 'Toy Story Land'. I beg you to reconsider this addition, on behalf of all those HK Disneyland fans. Glacier Bay is a much more logical addition as there is already a land for 'kids' (Fantasyland). HK Disneyland should now focus more on the young-adult/adult audience. Thank You.

This is very important to do. The issue everyone has is with Toy Story Land and Disney should know that but at the same time they need to know that the other two lands have the appropriate theming for the area.

Although Toy story land is suppose to be a immersive themed area, the location they picked to build it on is not the best location.

I wrote a mail where I told them how I feel about all this. I wrote that I thought that there would be too much Toystory in the park, that carnival rides are already well placed in Fantasyland and that they should look into making Mystic and Grizzly bigger insted of adding something that belongs in a mall. It was very personal and in the end came the begging. Haha...

Oh well...

What we are doing is getting local attention!! Hong Kong reporters asked Disney if it is true about the Glacier Bay plan and the negotiation process!! and as usual, the answer is NO COMMENT!

One of the news says that Disney representative would come to the legislative council on July 10th, presenting the detail plan of expansion. And Disney is considering to add Glacier Bay in the next expansion plan, reported in the same article, after receiving so many requests form E-mails.

Unfortunately the article is not available on the internet.

So Guys! please take action to send your opinion to Disney through E-mails before 10th July, cut the U-shape thing, change it indoor, whatever!! and let's hope they would listen and change their minds in this week!

All I read in your emails are complaints. Well, what is wrong with the proposed lands/rides specifically? Too much? Too little? Not enough? All I see is "I don't like it and I just wanted to let you know how I feel". Yeah, thats gonna win any executive over.

Well it's not entirely Disney's sole decision, is it? Disney is a business, HK government is, well, a government. So yeah, money is gonna definately matter. They do care to some degree in certain areas...
