![]() | HK Disney Security, NOT ACCEPTABLE! The security of HK Disney is UNACCEPTABLE! Using gentleman to search in a ladies handbag, even the guards have to search in a child's handbag, so that is called security? Even when asking them questions, they carry on searching and they don't answer your question. On the day, direct sunshine, from the bus walking inside and no shade. I have also have a little sister and little brother, they even said they don't want to go to their Disneyland next time. When searching, it's even worser than the airport. I don't even know what they are searching for inside the bags. I've not even heard one WORD of "Welcome", no picnic area's, no benches. Children normally like having picnic areas, and also children like eating outside and not inside the restaurant! Even Disney is meant to be a children theme park! Outside the carpark, there was no security, NOTHING! Even the small children don't like their procedure. I've emailed them but no respond to my email! There was not much children when I enter the theme park. |

![]() | Re: HK Disney Security, NOT ACCEPTABLE! Is this the first time you been to Disney? If you go to Anaheim Disneyland, and Walt Disney World you have to do bag searches by security before you are allowed into the park. If you don't want bag searches don't bring any outside bags into the park. This way you will be waved passed security. |

![]() | Re: HK Disney Security, NOT ACCEPTABLE! I haven't been to HK Disney, but you can expect bag searches to be done at any amusement park. Six Flags runs them through a scanner just like at an airport. Disney just hand checks them. They are looking for weapons (obviously) but also things like glass bottles which pose a hazard to other guests should they fall and break. The gender of the security person really shouldn't matter, they're only looking in your bag, not doing a strip-search of your person. As for picnic areas, I don't know a lot about Hong Kong, but isn't there a fair amount of rain? Devoting space to a picnic area that can only be used in the right weather is just wasting space. Too hot, too cold, too rainy...no picnickers. The parks all have sunny areas. Walt Disney World has a LOT of overly sunny spots, and Florida's summers are very hot and very humid. It's too bad you didn't enjoy your stay, but some things like security are now a fact of life and it's either accept them and move on, or stay away from most public venues, airports and amusement parks.

![]() | Re: HK Disney Security, NOT ACCEPTABLE! This is what happens at just about every theme park in the world. It's for everyone's safety that they do bag searches, you should be glad they are carrying out such procedures.

![]() | Re: HK Disney Security, NOT ACCEPTABLE! I think its a good idea. Its for everyones safety, and if they took the check points out and something bad happens, then it would be all Disney's fault for not having proper security.

![]() | Re: HK Disney Security, NOT ACCEPTABLE! Well basically, I have been to other amusement parks, they never do bag searches and also at other themeparks, they all have picnic areas and benches for people to sit on. They are not respecting the people that are about to enter the themepark. I'm also on about handbags and NOT paperbags! Using a gentleman to search in a ladies handbag, so that is what you called security? Even the security have to ABUSE the children to open up their handbags? Even when asking questions, they just don't answer your question and carry on searching, NOT ACCEPTABLE! |

The security do not "abuse" children, don't know what you're thinking of.If you went to HKDL, which I don't think you did, or else you wouldn't be complaining, there are loads of empty benches both inside and outside the park. I'm so sorry but I really don't see a reasonable argument in your text.

![]() | Re: HK Disney Security, NOT ACCEPTABLE! Well I have been to HK disneyland, don't say I haven't been to it! There was no benches from inside or outside! Even a bottle of water, have to be thrown in the bin right infront of yourself! I expect gentleman to search in lady handbag, I expect this situation, can be put on HK Disney forum to see your own result! Not even improve the theme park, but NOT EVEN SAID SORRY! Even the security guard wanting the child to open up their little handbag, only a few inches, so calling that is not ABUSING CHILDREN! Even in direct sunshine, no shade NOTHING! This situation, your still covering it up! I even have spoken to alot of my friends (the UK resident), they even say a bottle of water, have to be thrown straight into the bin when 34 degrees and over, so people be able to survive in the kind of hot weather! HK Disney should offer bottles of water for customers so don't have to be drowsy! If by your own meaning, insulting our family, that we haven't been to HK or it's either your working in HK Disney! I see the lady's personal item have been spill out to search on the next line, they might be come from China so they are used to it, we are all from England!
