    Thanks for the pics.

The conceptual art released for the expansion doesn't at all depict the massive size of the whole expansion. By the looks of it, Grizzly Gulch is the biggest land with TSL being the smallest (a great thing since it looked the biggest from the concept art).

Themeparkguy really went all out, climbing that mountain.

This shot is my favorite: the park with the skyline in the background. I wish it was available in higher resolution.

The unused land is massive. Enough to house a Disney park the size of DisneySEA and many hotels.

When looking at this picture it becomes clear that an expansion, even if the smallest, for Mystic Point will be impossible. That land is doomed to only have one ride. That is the result of bad planning. They should have left a gap between Mystic Point and Toy Story Land to make it possible to add atractions in the future, even if small.

I think the imagineers designed the land to have only one ride specific to the theme of a mysterious collector living in a mansion deep in the forest. But TSL could go away just as ToonTown did in MK for a better replacement.

ORDDU: Perhaps--after Hong Kong Disneyland is unable to add any more attractions due to running out of room--they'll go forward and build the OTHER park that was originally talked about as a 'companion' park. Perhaps a Studios themed park?

ORWEN: Well, if they do it right--and I mean better than what they did in Paris, France--it could be a good thing.

A studios park would do really well in Hong Kong. But they gotta have enough popular film franchises like Universal has to support the park. Perhaps the acquisition of Marvel can help.

ORWEN: Well, there you go, then! I mean, I'm not a Marvel Fan, myself, and wouldn't want to see them move next door to HKDL. But there should be enough other Disney or Pixar properties that would work well enough to attract the potential guests over ther, a witch should think.

I have a feeling that a Hong Kong Studios Park would suffer the fate of Paris's.

    Amen.

I wouldn't mind it if it actually had Grauman's Chinese there as well, and the Great Movie Ride, but I have something against movie studio-type parks especially if they're not being actually used. I know it seems ignorant to believe all of the "actual working studio" patter that they use, but I'd like to believe some of it.

At least IoA is clearly branded as a theme park, but what I'm ranting against are the other Universal Studio parks that are clearly not working studios. RAWR.

So yeah, I'm kinda against the idea of a DHS HK, but what else could it be?

Disney Asian Adventures sounds great, but Marvel as squeamish I am about it might be a good means to have a thrill ride based park that the locals seem to want. Or how about another conceptual redundancy, Disney American Adventures?

My vote is for EPCOT, but good luck with that.
