Hong Kong Disneyland attendance is strong

Hong Kong Disneyland dismissed a report that the two-month-old theme park is suffering from poor attendance and has failed to attract the number of visitors expected by the local government.

Attendance at Hong Kong Disneyland is strong, a park executive said Tuesday, amid questions about its popularity more than two months after it opened.

ORDDU: But, then, should we believe what the Management has to say, really? This wouldn't be the first time they've misled the public.

ORGOCH: What those no-good management types OUGHT ta do is take their dang heads out a their butts and start seein' things the way they really is!! Ev'rybody we been readin' about--who went over there--says the same thing. The park was like a dang ghost town! Now, who's tellin' the truth, here?

Re: Hong Kong Disneyland attendance is strong

When I was there Dec 1, crowds were ok when the gates opened at 10am, but swelled after lunchtime (the standby line for Buzz was about an hour), and by evening when the Christmas tree light-up ceremony was going on, Main Street was completely packed!

Maybe it's just seasonal. Anyone else been to the park recently and how are the crowds like now?
