the architectural style seems to fit the rest of the buildings but the size of this things is just terrible. It really destroys the look of the area.

The new building really looks like crap. It fits like a foot in a glove.

I was waiting till this finished till commenting. The building is actually fine onto itself, but on the turn-of-the-century Main Street, it is too big (why did it need to stick out?) and it's way out of context. (yes, I know that in Paris Exposition in the late 1800s there were buildings like this, but in the US? Can you imagine this in Marceline, MO? I highly doubt it.)

Looks like an Imagineering mistake to me.

There are myriad issues here - scale, lack of detail work, placement. It's like there is zero context to the existing design principles. Shocking.

Nice pipes... they really Disney up the authenticity of this wonderful store that semes to be a much needed smash hit of an addition to the park.

    Re: Monster on Mainstreet

I was park this afternoon, I think the outlook of this monster is not detail enough although it won't disturb the main street much when you walk through the street.

But I have to agree that the inner part of the building is really nice and in detail ,and it connect two main shops and it's more convenient for shopping between two shops.

I agree they build a shop or something connect two main shops but I disagree why they don't give more detail for its outlook.
