The website for Hong Kong Disneyland's Chinese New Year Celebrations has gone live.

Is it me or does this look rather lite compared to previous years. Disney Magic in the Stars, Toy Story Land and Grizzly Gulch all regular offerings are being promoted for this Event. The only other offerings are new Character Costumes and decorations. What has become of the procession down Main Street?

This ad is the same ad used for Sparkling Christmas, just touched up to say Chinese New Year...

Anyway from what I know loads of mainland Chinese visitors flood the park during CNY. So much so that it is not a good time to visit.

RECORD CROWDS THRONG TO PARKS - The Standard

A spokeswoman said Disneyland recorded its highest number of visitors for a single day on Tuesday, while yesterday's crowd was the second highest. She did not mention the figures.

Other news sources quoted figures of 40,000 for Tuesday.
