(VERY OLD!) TRIP REPORTS
No, not brainwashing. They are trying to advertise to many viewers throughout the day because many people live too busy of lifestyles to see the commercials more than once or twice.Originally Posted by HongKongDisneyland
Maybe not brainwashing, unless Disney is creating an overly unrealistic view of their offerings. If they're like the recent Disneyland Space Mountain Mountain commercials that featered little to no real ride footage from the attraction it was advertising, then I say there's probably a problem... But I guess that unrealistic and overly idealized, and maybe somewhat misleading advertising is commonplace when it comes to Disney themepark ads.
...Anyways... I find it funny that Disney is too cheap to pony out the dough for the primetime TV ads when families are typically all togehter watching TV. At least that's how it is in America. Not sure how Chinese culture is and if the whole family or at least parts of the family watch TV from the 7-11pm (primetime) timeblock though.
