Finnair Steps Up China Frequencies:

More Flights to Guangzhou and Shanghai; Non-Stop to Hong Kong

Hong Kong flights will be non-stop as of mid-May, omitting the current
landing at Bangkok. The non-stop service continues three times a week
until July, when it will be increased to four times a week until the
end of October.

“There is a great demand in the Hong Kong market especially during the
summer, and in both directions,” says Petteri Kostermaa, Vice President,
Network Strategies and Management. “The journey time to Hong Kong is
reduced by over four hours with non-stop flights. Moreover, passengers
can connect smoothly between Hong Kong’s modern and award-winning airport

and other destinations in mainland China and south-east Asia.” Hong Kong
is a favourite tourist destination, with a number of new attractions such
as Hong Kong Disneyland and AsiaWorld-Expo.
