Careful...only some of the photos are actually "Symphony of Light". Most of the photos With the really BIG fireworks are either Chinese New Year, HKSAR Establishment Day, or National Day fireworks. These are actually pretty cool and on a very grand scale with large shells shot from barges in the harbor.

"Symphone of Light" is SIGNIFICANTLY less cool and very much does not PWNS Disney in the Stars. It is predominently a laser show with some pyro and a (relatively lame, IMHO) soundtrack.

    Just so we're all clear...

You are PARTIALLY correct but ....

"A Symphony of Lights" was enhanced with bigger fireworks and additional pyrotechnic displays on several occasions(e.g. Xmas festive shows 23,24,31 Dec 05 and Chinese New Year Festive shows 3-5 Feb 06) when phase 2 of the show was relaunched in Dec of 2005.

"A Symphony of Lights" has been named the world's largest permanent light and sound show by Guinness World Records.

The Show would be different and enhanced if you watched it during those festive periods or special days.

Although I do love that one bank skyscraper that looks like a light-up grid at night, I'm not impressed. It may be a big show but it's just a bunch of lights turning on and off. I could get that same kind of enjoyment looking at the spotlight on top of the Luxor.

With the big fireworks I can see it being a great event, though, but it looks like they only break those out for special occasions.

It should also be noted that there's more Tourism Dept publicity shots of the waterfront show, and only a few of the Disney pictures (some of the choices seem kind of odd, don't seem to be about the fireworks show) look like publicity shots. Publicity shots have a greater chance of Photoshop to enhance the appearance of special effects.
