ORWEN: I always thought the Magic Kingdom in Florida had a subtropical climate and atmosphere, too.

Longer? Definitely not in terms of ride time (maybe they drive faster?).Originally Posted by nish221
You'd think with so much shore to work with they'd add a few more show scenes...
The mountains in the background are neat. But unlike at TDS, you can't see the ocean from the park...Originally Posted by HongKongDisneyland

How many other resorts are not only accessable by uber-cool computer controlled Mickey trains on a dedicated line designed to tranport you from the real world to the whimsical Disney realm, but also by boat (coming soon)?Originally Posted by HongKongDisneyland

Yes, I know the last 3 are highly contestable, but in my experience I have found that to be so.
Such is the nature of one's opinions.
Best Disney theme park in China.
Most realistic pee-scented bushes.
Best place to witness the Chinese-Child Toss.
I must say that does give the resort a pretty cool effect. It gives it an almost WDW feel, in that you are surrounded by Disney. The mountains are a big plus! They look beautiful behind the castle.Originally Posted by V1213

You are absolutely correct! Hong Kong is MORE subtropical than WDW tho. Orlando can drop below freezing in the winter where Hong Kong never does. It is amazing the additional species of plants this makes possible in HK that can not be grown in FL...Originally Posted by Witches of Morva
