    HK Gov't plans to spend HK$120million for HKDLR to use Sea Water for Flushing Toilet

    政府擬動用1.2億元,將迪士尼樂園及竹篙灣的海水供應系統工程,提升至甲級,以便用海水沖廁 。

    經濟發展及勞工局向立法會提交的文件稱,迪士尼樂園、竹篙灣警崗、消防局及救護車站等設施,目前都是使用食 水沖,為了節約食水,故此建議提升有關工程。
    當局計估,工程會帶來約90個就業職位,工程計劃在年底開展,預計將於2009年6月完成。

    Partial Translation:
    HK Government plans to spend HK$120million, to upgrade the sea water supply system in Penny's Bay to Grade "A" classification in order to use Sea Water for Flushing Toilet.

    According to documents submitted by the Economic and Labour Dept, the proposed HK$120million project will convert the use of Fresh water to Sea Water at Penny's Bay ( HK Disneyland Resort, Police Station, Fire Station and Ambulance Facilities) for Toilet Flushing.

    They plan to start the project at the end of 2006 and complete by June 2009.

    So, in other words - don't drink the toilet water - it will only make you thirsty?
