Ocean Park’s Luna Midnyte To Haunt Local Shopping Malls and Restaurants Free Ocean Park Halloween Bash Admission Tickets For Lucky Souls

Hong Kong, 21 September 2006) To usher in the upcoming Ocean Park Halloween Bash attractions, the shimmering Luna Midnyte, leader of over 200 shrieking spirits of the night, will be dashing down to different shopping malls, shops and restaurants from 23 September to 15 October. Luna Midnyte and her ghoulish minions will introduce the attractions of Ocean Park Halloween Bash and play games with the audience. Ten admission tickets to the Ocean Park Halloween Bash will be given away for each programme.

Usually Disney Halloweens are pretty tame to make sure they don't scare off the jumpiest of young ones. It doesn't sound like Ocean is going in the same direction.

So, in a way, it's taking the Knott's Scary Farm route, which is sure to net it a lot of customers.

Im hoping Ocean Park does better at its Halloween promotion,that way it'll encourage HKDL to be more competive in future years.I've just got back from Tokyo Disneyland's Halloween event,which was a blast and Im hoping HKDL will one day be able to pull something like this of at its park.Obviously the first year is all about tasting the waters to see if this kind of event will work with the mainly Chinese guest.

HK Ocean Park's Halloween Bash 2006 is already a success. Tickets have been sold out on some specific days. Premium tickets and Premium Halloween Dinner have been announced "Soldout". The price of those Premium tickets at HK Ocean Park is even more expensive than HKDL's regular day ticket. HK OCean Park raised the ticket price for their Halloween Bash 2006.

【本報訊】黃金周效應雖減弱，但一向受內地旅客及本港市民歡迎的海洋公園，卻一連兩日入場人數打破去年同日 紀錄，昨日的入場人數再高於前日，海洋公園發言人未有透露具體數字，但表示有信心本月一日至十日的入場人次 ，可打破去年二十五萬的紀錄。而昂坪纜車昨日則有逾九千四百五十名旅客乘搭，亦較前日創新紀錄，Skyra il預計未來數日仍會旺場。此外，警方稱香港迪士尼樂園開幕至今共接獲八百多宗報案。
金鐘往海洋公園的巴士站昨早一度出現達三百人的人龍，大多為內地遊客。而公園內海豚表演每場都爆滿，但機動 遊戲則不用輪候太長時間。首次以個人遊身份來港的河南旅客王先生表示，園內整體氣氛不俗，要玩的機動遊戲大 部分都玩到，下次訪港會再到公園玩；來自英國的男遊客Colley則表示外國都有迪士尼，故不打算到香港迪 士尼樂園遊玩。
昂坪纜車近萬搭客
昂坪纜車昨日再現排隊人龍，高峰時段需輪候兩個小時，有旅客投訴現場指示不清，雖已預先購買車票，但仍要與 未買票的旅客一起輪候。Skyrail發言人回應稱，昨日已將購票及未購票的旅客分流，但假期旅客眾多輪候 需時。昂坪纜車昨錄得九千四百五十人次乘搭。
此外，香港迪士尼樂園開幕一年期間，負責樂園及附近地方治安的大嶼山竹篙灣警崗共接獲八百三十一宗案件報告 ，平均每日有兩宗報案。其中一百零五宗為刑事案件，佔整體約一成三，主要涉及雜項盜竊，但亦不乏性罪行及暴 力罪行，而全年共有一百三十人被捕。至於其餘七百二十六宗為非刑事案件，以報失財物、拾獲財物及其他雜項報 告為主。
