Photo Credit: MingPao  Photo Credit: Mingpao  Photo Credit: Apple Daily  Photo Credit: Orisun  Photo Credit: Orisun Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Shows (over HK$12million project by HK Tourism Board) These beautiful lanterns will be displayed during the Mid-Autum Festival at various places in Hong Kong. 2006 National Day Fireworks Extravaganza (1st Oct 2006,9:15pm) Sponsered by Mission Hills Golf Club  Special "Symphony of Lights"  Spectacular fireworks will be added to Symphony of Lights shows during the National Day-Golden Week holiday. The newly-designed display will be staged on September 30 and October 2, and from October 6 to 8. The best vantage points are Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai, and the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. APM-Millennium City  Centre Pompidou treasures coming to HK  Fifty-eight masterpieces from France's Centre Pompidou will be displayed at the Museum of Art September 30 to December 3. The exhibition features works by masters like Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, Brancusi, Soutine, Modigliani, Dubuffet, Bacon, Balthus, Adami and Raysse Martial. Hong Kong Space Museum   Olympian City Mega Exhibition of China's Ancient Mammal Fossils  and in nearby Macau: Wynn Macau - 18th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest
