If we don't behave? What then? Lemonade and cookies for all? Or is that just wishful thinking?

    Aww, shucks, mister!

At any rate, while we are talking about me...the new column, for those of you paying attention. Or caring. Or just enjoying the sounds of one man typing.

What a week for Hong Kong tourism!

    http://news.hkdlsource.com/story/164

This week we take a look at our own technical problems, and those of the Ngong Ping 360 cable car network. We also look at why Ocean Park may win the theme park war against Disneyland, look at a rumour involving this year's Halloween celebrations and learn the fate of an acid wielding killer! Ensure your hands and feets are inside the vehicle at all times this week in Hong Kong Disneyland!

It's been a whole week since the last weekly column! Who would have thought time could fly by so swiftly. This week we talk about Pirate Land's less than imminent departure, Hong Kong SAR's birthday, baseball, bogus bombers and our own upgrades.

    http://news.hkdlsource.com/story/167

It's a jam-packed issue, so get to reading right now!

This Week in Hong Kong Disneyland comes to you in a bumper-sized issue as we recap the events of the HK SAR Anniversary on Sunday; look forward to Mickey's Summer Blast (which may be closer than you think); bring you some brand new photos of the Animation Academy; explore the park's growth; worker's rights; some rumours about Downtown Disney and Pirates and, of course, we talk a bit about ourselves too.

Plus, we start to count down to our birthday which will include a competition!

Folks, its's huge so stop wasting time! Go! In! Now!

Is it just me or everytime I open HKDS web site, the page never load properly and my internet connect get screw up. I think something to do with the donation meter on the left of the page. The bar keep moving up and down.

That's an issue we are dealing with, and if you are using IE6 it's going to screw up as well. All being dealt with I'm told, but this crazy internet thing has got me baffled lately.

    Thanks for the update Loomis.

Do you think Disney made a big mistake regarding the attractions it chose to go inside this park if it has to close up many of the attractions due to bad waether.

I'm going to venture an answer here. I don't think they made a mistake other than not enough attractions. I'm basing this on last summer. We had few days of rain and foul weather. This year has just been an aweful weather year so far. Nothing bad enough to stop schools or work, but just enough to take the fun out of the day. (I think there have been at least 5 thunderstorm warnings come into effect AFTER I paid to get into the pool) They usually last about 2 hours, so there is always something that can be done in the mean time.

The problem with the park is that there too many outdoor attractions not enough indoor attractions. Inclement weather kills over half the attractions in the park.

ORDDU: Let's see, I can think of 3 outdoor attractions over there right off the bat. Dumbo, the Autopia, The Jungle Cruise. What others might have to be closed down in bad weather?
