Re: TDLFAN's Xmas photos/report from HKDL

I would not say "hundreds of dollars", but it's cheaper at the Hollywood over the HKDLH.

I should have been more clear, isn't it hundreds of dollars cheaper per night than the Grand Floridian?

Thanks for sharing your TR and photos - fantastic. HKDL sure is a pretty park, esp. at night.
    She did it!

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - prices start from US $375 per night*

Disney's Hollywood Hotel starts at approx. US $128 per night

Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel starts at approx. US $205

    *Based on 2007 rates

So yes, both are significantly cheaper.

A further comparison with the Paris Disneyland Hotel sees prices start, according to the official site, from US$563!!!

Ye gods, that's $35 short of an MGM SkyLoft. At lest the GF doesn't seem like SUCH a big rip-off now, though.

Ah those Skylofts look fantastic, don't they?

That is based on the "Starting from" price on the official website. It seems awfully pricey to me, so perhaps you can get better deals if you shop for them.

Now if only Disney installed a Skyloft somewhere and charged about the same as Disney's Hollywood Hotel...

Sigh. A few years ago I could have said we Brits finally had a Disneyland of our own! It was not to be.

TDLFAN, I am extremely jealous of you.
    The park looks amazing.
It did make me a little sad to see the handfuls of people gathering at the parade though.
