Disney Resort Line

I found something out today... the Disney resort line trains are being built by Newcastle based (near Sydney, Australia) company, A. Goninan & Co. Ltd (Click).

The bad news is it seems they aren't new trains. Bum. Also, why couldn't they design them like the Mark VI on two rails instead of the Tokyo-Mickey Ear look?

Well the monorail at California and Florida was born out of Tomorrowland and the vision of the future, whereas the new rails at Tokyo and Hong Kong are just for transportation and a Disney touch is more comforting and recognisable than an ordinary off-the-line Mark VI train on which the only Disney touch are advertisments for new attractions.
