Physical evidence HKDL is coming! (aerial shots)

I spent some time in Hong Kong this past week and was able to discover physical evidence of things to come, as the MTR gets ready to open the new Disneyland Resort Line into HKDL, and got to see the resort from across Victoria Harbor and from the air after taking off from Hong Kong Int'l Airport. Here are the photos I took:

Anyone who has a window seat on the right side of the plane *when taking off towards the northeast* can get a view of HKDL Resort minutes after taking off from HK Airport, provided that 1) weather is not overcast, cloudy or foggy and 2) you are not seating over the airplane's wing, which will block your ability to look down to the resort as you fly overhead.

Nice pics, as usual. I'm wondering whether I should try and combine a HK visit with a Tokyo one ...

ORDDU: Oh, I would, WDW1974, duckling! And--if you'd like--you're more than welcome to have an ariel view of the parks, compliments of a broomstick ride. (You're more than welcome to put your arms around my waist, if you like, so that you don't fall off while I'm sure to fall for you!)

Hey TDLFAN, do you have any maps of Hong Kong Disneyland, or if they even have made one yet. If you do, I would greatly appreciate itt if you posted it

No, I don't...sorry I don't think there are any available yet, except for the one big map that's on display in the HKDL Preview center at EPCOT. In fact, there is no pre-opening merchandise available in Hong Kong's Disney Stores at all. They do have a brochure available but it's printed in chinese and only features a few artist renderings of the park and several photos taken at the MK and DL parks.

It's depressing to know my local Disneyland is going to be the one with the least substance...

I was reading the D-I-G about all the Tokyo matience enginers all coming over to Disneyland (CA) to the 'the original' and all excited (thinking that the park was to be of even better Qualtiy of what they felt was their hard work to preserve the legacy), only to find Al was right (It should be noted that they had read the D-I-G and thought Al was holding the park to super human standards). Now that I think about it... I kinda like Tokyo... If only there was a Main Street, Railroad, TL 2005 and Mark VI monorails...
