 | No 2nd Birthday Cake for Mickey I've contacted Disney about any events planned for the 2nd Anniversary. However, it seems that beyond the merch already in the shops, there is nothing planned. In fact, I got an email late last night (our time) "to confirm we are not planning for any celebration or events on the 2nd anniversary". Guess that 2nd Anniversary Fan Meetup MiceChat's HongKongDisneyland let us know about will be the only major event on the day...

They hardly ever do anything special for those anniversaries that fall in between the main anniversaries every 5 yrs. I don't even think anything special was done for TDS' 6th (and their merchandise is quite cute and lovely). As for HKDL's 2nd anniversary merchandise.. it is quite quite! nice and in itself, it's much more than what the USA and Paris park would even do for those less popular milestones.
