It all looks interesting and I really wish I could go. For the year of rat, Mickey's costume will be designed by Vivienne Tam. Besides that, there are lots more attractions so you have to go to the page to see for yourself.

I wonder if the haunted mansion/santa's grotto will turn into Mickey's house for CNY. That would be neat. My little one was just asking where Mickey's house is. Does anyone know?

Mickey has three houses. One in DL's Toontown in CA, another one in Toontown at TDL, and the 3rd one at WDW/MK's Toontown Fair.

Disney officially announces their plans for the Year of the Mouse Celebrations for Chinese New Year via this spiffy press release. It's full of stars! There's also a new Rhythm of Life Procession; a chance to visit Mickey's House; Adventures in Fashion with Vivienne Tam, as well as new things to eat and buy in the park!

I wish Disneyland would have something bigger during Chinese New Year though I understand why they wouldn't.

The outfits in Hong Kong are so fun! I like the mouse ears chinese character too.

Given that they have used the haunted house for Santas Grotto, I'll lay odds it now will become Mickey's house.

ORWEN: Oh, I'd really LOVE to go with you, Katsmom, duckling. But, unfortunately, that's the witching hour and I've got a big old cauldron to stir. Anyway, thank you for your answer to my question. I was kinda hoping Mickey's new house would be built over by the new entrance to Small World so that, maybe, this would lead to them building a Toon Town for Hong Kong Disneyland.

They are doing a bit more this year, obviously capitalising on the year of the mouse. Apparently they also discovered during market research that knowledge of who Mickey Mouse is is very low on the mainland. Not sure who or where they surveyed to get that result, but it must have scared them that all those millions in marketing and advertising has not made a dent.

This year's costume for Mickey and Minnie are very nice. Both are very well done espeacially Minnie's dress. It is for real designer's clothes.
