HK Small World Video (merged)

A few short videos have made it online from the new Its a Small World attraction in Hong Kong Disneyland. Quality isn't great but hopely it will keep you going for now. Please don't click on the videos if you intend to visit the park and don't want anything spoiled. If anyone else finds any videos please share them with us here!

Ughh i have MANY problems with this. First the placement. The Scandavian scene across from England and France? The Greek scene BEFORE the Swiss scene? OK? Also, they dont even have all the dolls the othes have! There was no English kids on the moon or the Beefeaters. And some of the music tracks werent even the same i think. I think all i heard was a guitar in Spain, lame, but maybe the Italian track was overpowering its neighbor. And lets not even GET into the Disney music being played. You can DEFINTLY hear Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo being played (this was the most noticeable). Although i am surprised how they tied it in.

They've got a bit of "Another World" (from Aladdin) blended into the soundtrack for the Arabian tableau. Another world. There's plenty of irony in that. Not sure if it's intentional.

I heard it. It was kind of hard with Chinese voice over the load speaker. You think they are having trouble keeping people seated?

Hmm...the Disney character placement is very subtle here. Even Cinderella, who looked very blatant from photos, is not sticking out too much...she's just mashed up in the middle of France.

I had a hard time hearing the Disney tunes woven in, but I'll have to give it another listen. So far, though, it seems to be a great addition, and I'm not too worried about what will happen at Disneyland once they add characters, if it's like this.

A Whole New World sounds very nice in the mix, I spotted Cinderella, Prince Charming, Pinnochio, Alladdin, Jasmine, Apu, Simba, Timon, and Pumba

I only noticed Aladdin and Jasmine
from watching these vids of course its youtube quality so maybe on a higher rez version I would notice more.

Looks great though. Notice the rainforest section is still in this one!

After seeing this I am not worried about the one at Disneyland. Like someone said in another thread the Disney characters are like a bonus. Kinda like hidden Mickeys. Its not like they tore out France and stuck Beauty and the Beast castle there with them singing be our guest.

If this is what is going into Disneyland, then I say drop the petitions. It doesn't look nearly as bad as I thought it would look.

I spotted Marie in France too. She's sitting on the canopy above the can-can girls...she's twirling her tail.

Oh, and I love the look of the finale room. They returned to the World's Fair color scheme of a peach tone to everything. When it moved to Disneyland it turned white, but I like this new version too!

I think it is Bambi with the rabbit i don't no what his english name is. The are on the ice in the beginning .
