Bah, I wish I could be there. Two of my friends already saw the movie this afternoon at an industry screening. i couldn't make it of course. They of course had to text me and rub it in since they knew I really wanted to see it.

I can't wait to see this movie! The early buzz has been really good. Not that I'm surprised or anything. LOL!

I actually contemplated heading over to the Greek today and see if I could get some pictures with my long lens. I also heard that the after party was going to be held at the Griffith Observatory...pretty cool! But alas, the heat quickly made me make other plans. I couldn't imagine standing out in the heat and sun this afternoon. Just one more week!

That's interesting. I wonder why the Greek? This is the first time I've ever heard of a movie premiering at the Greek instead of an actual movie theater (other than the POTC films). Not that it's a bad thing, it's just...different (I would imagine the current heat wave might make it a tad less enjoyable for all involved, though).

K, the movie was awesome... had to say it. But Disney was psychotic on security. They had a freaking wand on everyone and when my friends had cells with cameras on them they got sent back to the cars to put them away and then they wouldn't let them back in the theatre. Man was I irritated.
