Do you think that Knott's Soak City Orange County needs more rides?

I have been to the water park a few times and every time I go I do enjoy my time. But the more and more I go it always dawns on me that they should consider new attractions. The last attraction they built was Pacific Spin, which is a great slide, and that was way back when.
I think they have room to knock out a tad more space of the parking lot to expand and build more slides. It just seems like the company is just letting it sit without building new and exciting slides for their guests.

What does everyone else think? Is it time for an expansion?

If Wild Rivers is really closing this time to make room for condos (as if the area really needs them), then perhaps Knott's can poach a few of their rides on the cheap. Personally I like Wild Rivers better than Soak City and Raging Waters.

Yeah I used to go to Wild Rivers all the time. But Knott's is a little closer to us.
They could purchase some things from them for sure if they wanted. Just seems like Knott's needs to do something with the place instead of just letting it sit there.

The property in San Diego is great. That Soak City location has a bunch of rides, I just wish it was like that up here in Orange.

I feel like they do need more rides but correct me if I'm wrong I don't think they have any more space to put anything.
Look at Knotts, they took out the lake to put Silver Bullet. There just isn't more land to put rides in.

Wild Rivers has been "CLOSING DOWN" for over a decade. Every summer it is apparently "closing down". I'll believe it when I see it.

Nah. Wild Rivers is definitely closing this year. I just passed it yesterday, and they're clearing the all the land surrounding it in preparation for the new homes.

No not in the theme park, Im talking about the water park. There is def some room in that parking lot to where they can add some body slides at the least.
They need something there that gives me a reason to come back. It's all about competition. But I don't think they are going to spend money on the water park right now which is kind of a bummer. There is so much you can do with that piece of land.

Oops maybe there was a miscommunication but the first part I was talking about the water park. The second part about "Look at Knotts" was just an example in general of the whole entire place.

    Oh my bad, haha.
But yeah with the theme park room is very limited. Its getting to where they are putting rides on top of rides and I think it looks awful. With soak city on the other hand they have the parking lot to expand in. There is plenty of room to add a few more attractions in the little corner of the parking lot that is right next to Pacific Spin.
Just a shame that its been over 5 years since new attraction at the water park.
