Wonder if this ever happened on the old Parachute ride.

I wonder if from that height the stuck passengers could see Disneyland and all the rides functioning properly and smoothly.

I wonder if they could have brought over the Maliboomer and used that to evacuate them.

I <3 Knott's Berry Farm, however I will not be going on this Cedar Fair endorsed Ride (for obvious reasons) ....

The Windseeker is one of many Rides in Theme Parks that sound like a maintenance nightmare (even Six Flags Magic Mountain had to take down its fair share of rides) and lets not forget that even Big Thunder Mountain (due to lack of maintenance) @ Disneyland killed a Park Guests ...

^ What ride at SFMM was removed due to being a maintenance nightmare?

I'm not saying some rides at SFMM aren't maintenance nightmares (Superman, Deja Vu, X2, Green Lantern) but none of them were removed BECAUSE they were maintenance nightmares. In fact, SFMM's Deja Vu was always the best running of all of the Deja Vu's at the Six Flags parks and was the one that lasted the longest in it's original location. They have addressed most of the issues on X2 and Superman with making lighter trains, etc.

The Deja Vu in IL and GA only lasted 6 years, the one at SFMM lasted 10 years and was the only one that was actually moved to another Six Flags park and not sold. I haven't heard of any major maintenance issues on it since it it got moved to NE.

Big Thunder's issues were not because it was a "Maintenance Nightmare" it was just "lack of maintenance".

As far as Windseeker, I have 100% confidence that the park and Mondial will figure out what the issue is, address it and the ride will be fine. The ride IS SAFE. The ride did EXACTLY what it was designed to do and nobody got hurt. The issue is that they didn't design a way to get people DOWN quickly.

The issue would be if there was an Earthquake at Knott's or a storm at Cedar Point or Kings Dominion and they couldn't get people down and somebody got hurt. This is what they have to address and what I'm sure they are addressing.
