Re: Knott's Scary Farm 2014 Info Thread.

As far as I can guess, it was the display of the Special Ops: Infected course. There was really nothing else revealed that hadn't already been said Wednesday, as far as I can tell.
Does anyone even bother with signatures anymore?

The infected scarezone/maze sounds sooo cool, and my guess is it will be my favorite maze

The headless Horseman was also announced, which, if you take a picture and post it with a special hashtag, it enters you in a contest to win items.

If anyone has any further questions I am a monster there and I am building it so I can help with some stuff.

    Questions galore!

Anyone up for meeting at 2pm at the bar at TGIF (across from the Knott's entrance) before waiting with Micechatters at 2:30?

May guests bring backpacks into the Scary Farm? Yes!

Finally, is it worth going back to mazes later in the evening to see the Skeleton Key rooms?
    Which mazes have them?
    How were they last year?

They allow backpacks normally, I don't see why Haunt would be any different. I haven't been to KSF in a few years though, so maybe someone who has gone more recently can elaborate.

You can also give them a call - (714) 220-5200

Thanks, Explodingboy! I called and was told, "Yes."

If any of you see a short, shy, funny-looking guy reading a book while everyone is waiting for the Scary Farm, please feel free to approach and say, "Jcruise86?"
And then demand an apology for something stupid I've written on Micechat!

I think I know how the infected ops is going to work. There going to have robotic zombies popping up out of no where and u have to shot them in the head for points and a group of 12 will leave every 5 mins or so. That's my guess on it. I am hoping that there really people dressed like zombies, but I don't see how that would work, when u shot them they just lay down? , but witha real person u get the extra creepy feeling as to not sAME feeling with a pop up. Think of it like the buzzlightyear ride at Disneyland but with zombies. I was under the impression that there would be really people, did anyone else feel that way also. I'd like to know if I'm the only one haha. Enjoy the haunt.

I'm sure the lady and myself will be down for that. Maybe a cocktail or two will calm her nerves and get her ready for some screams!

I found the Skeleton Key rooms were a nice addition and worth doing. My group of friends had an easy time hitting the rooms and keeping up with the MC group. The special fx in the added rooms set the tone and added some nice background story for the mazes.

Then I'll be happy to meet y'all (and any other Micechatters) around 2:30 at TGIFs!
I'm 5'8" and will be wearing an older Micechat Scary Farm T-shirt.

I'm bummed Delirium is gone already. That's been my favorite maze the past few years, and I was hoping it had 1 - 2 more years left in it. Hopefully Knott's proves me wrong, but I don't have high hopes for the Special Ops thing. I've tried all of the laser tag mazes that Knott's has tried in the past and they were super lame.

extended my KSF to the first thursday night. So two nights at their hotel and KSF. All that is left is to buy one more set of VIP passes for Thursday night and day park tickets for one day. Pretty excited would be an understatement.
