    Preteen Crushes...

Growing up in the 70-80's was crazy, a crazy time for the poor raging hormones of a boy in his teens. I had many crushes but a few stand out for me. OMG I had this crush on blondes, probably because I grew up in a dominant Latin neighborhood, dont get me wrong I love my Latin sister but the blonde haired blue eyes did it for me. Here were some of my crushes.
Ok donít laugh I was a little kid when I crushed these beauties...

    Kristy McNichols
    Laura Ingles from little house
    Samantha Fox
Martika from kids incorporated (seriously you laugh and im you ) )
Anna Ponce from my 5th grade class all the way through to my freshman year in high school.

And top on my list is this one from Conan!!! Ouch!!

Even I would admit that Eric Estrada was hunky!

I'll admit that I was in the John Schneider fan club!

Most of my preteen crushes were on guys I knew in real life, which made it all the more difficult. But my occasional celebrity crush was always on someone older, like 27ish. Weird. Never someone close to my age. I guess I've always been into older men!

The first poster of a girl I ever put up in my room was this hot little number of Alyssa Milano in a hockey jersey, holding a hockey stick. One of those mass-produced "signed" posters. I thought she was smokin back then, and still do. Nice to know some things last!

Pre-teen crush, in order of their appearance in my young life: The Grinch, Captain von Trapp, Michael Jackson, Michael Reich (2nd grade, baby!) my dad's friend, Jimmy, and Richard Grieco (THE SHAME!).

    Bonus answers:

Post-period crush: A boy with a pulse, an impish grin, nicely shaped hands, man smell, and a COMPLETE disregard for me. The more I was ignored by the object of my affection, the better!

Most guys my age had the famous Farrah Fawcett poster, I never cared much for her myself. I would have to say I had the hots for Mrs Garrett from Diff'rent strokes/Facts o life fame... Of Course Donny Osmond, Leif Garrett and Sean Cassidy were cute girls too.....lol

But seriously... I had it bad for Laura Ingalls. (Mellisa Gilbert) not too many posters of her around...
