    Skinny or Fat?

When is a woman too skinny? When is a woman too fat?

    Based on what?

Depending on who I ask, I get different answers.

Too Skinny - uses Doritos as a marker food
Too fat - Uses a 1 lb bag of Doritos as an appetizer

Nice image there, General! However, not so sure food intake is always a good indication of being to skinny or too fat. I know a woman who is built like a walking stick and yet she eats like a freaking horse!

Tink, that's a really tough question to answer. I think it's really a judgement call in every case. I guess I'd like to throw the question back to you to see what you think: When is a guy too skinny or too fat?

If you can count her ribs then she's too skinny.
If you can't count how many ribs she's eating then she's too fat.

I dunno about too skinny, but D-kat, V-fan and I did dinner at Claim Jumper last week and saw this rather large lady put away, I kid you not, an entire plate of ribs. And if you've been to C.J.'s you'll know, that is a LOT of ribs (think The Flintstones).

Too skinny - if you can see their ribs.
Too fat - if you can't see them behind their plate of ribs.

Ahem, this goes for men, too.

Too skinny- if you can count her ribs. Or his ribs, if we're looking at dudes. When my hubby and I met, we both weighed 135 pounds. I loved it but his sister teased him he was scrawny.

Too fat... that really depends. Hubby's getting a belly and we'd both like him to lose that. As far as girls... it really depends. Some girls look better with a few "extra" pounds...

I agree! I'm a fairly skinny guy, but still prefer women who are slightly overweight than slightly underweight. To me, women like Callista Flockhart just don't appeal to me. "Unhealthy looking" might be too strong of words, but that's the general idea.

Yeah, ya wanna feed the girl.

I am encouraged by the fact that real people prefer women who are heavier than the skeletal model proposed by Hollywood. The media plays it up when a star gains so much as a pound, but really, most of them look better for it. I like curves on a woman and for that, she can't be reed-thin.

I think some of us prefer to be called 'fluffy'.

No? I guess it's just me.
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

Its all based around Disneyland for me.. If a person is too fat to enjoy a day at disneyland then they need to shed a few.

Too skinny? If they can cinch the seat belt all the way on the matterhorn, and still be in danger of flying out then they need to eat a few churros.

    For men...
a guy is too skinny if his rib cage is showing through his skin.
a guy is too heavy when his breasts are bigger than mine..
