Unfortunately a lot of comics from the early 90's were so overprinted that many can be worthless. The "Funeral for a friend" issues are probably worth, at best, cover price. AS far as non-sports cards though, it depends on what you have, but many of them are pretty low as well. The non-sports card market collapsed years ago and never recovered. Comicbooks have been picking up steam the last few years, however.

Yeah I got a bunch of non-sports cards too. I would not sell my full set, but I do have a few extra sets that I wouldsell if I had the opportunity.

Nexus - Hands down the best.

While I like Batman, I prefer "white hat" heroes.

    Solomon's wisdom
    Hercules's strength
    Atlas' stamina
    Zeus' power
    Achilles' courage
    Mercury's speed.

By calling out the name SHAZAM, these powers were manifest.

I could go into more detail, but then my geekiness measurements would fly off the scale.

My favorite heroes? I could go on and on. I like Batman, Alpha Flight, all the "X" titles, Dr. Fate, the Demon Etrigan, Mr. Incredible (Disney was obviously trying for my attention by making a really good superhero movie) and the Titans (aka the Teen Titans that, well, since the title as been out---aren't exactly teens anymore).

Strangely, I've not read many comic books as of late.

    Oh well.

    Does that help?

I thought Daredevil was blind...not that I know much about Flash Gordon.

Let's see, I mostly read Vertigo titles nowadays, "The Sandman" is one of my all-time favorites. I've even read some Marvel titles because Neil Gaiman wrote them.
But nowadays (mostly because of money) "Fables" is the only monthly I buy. And that is because I'm a sucker for fairytales.

Flash Gordon is not blind. Daredevil is blind.

"The Sandman" is one of the greats. I have the whole series in first print hardcovers and many signatures from the creators. I'm debating on whether or not to get the Absolute Sandman volumes. Its expensive and I already have the stories, but Neil Gaiman says it looks really great and has lots of bonus features. So I may get volume 1 at least. Speaking of which, its time to go to the comicbook store. : )

White Hat heros are those that are the ones that stand up for good while not compromising those same ideals. Superman, Capt. America, The Flash, and the Lone Ranger come to mind.

Black Hat heros are still on the side of good but have their own demons or other bugaboos. Batman (Dark Knight), Constantine, Sandman, at least one Green Lantern and many many post 1995 heros are in this genre.

I keep hoping they will release it in hardcover one of these days. I am getting the 1001 nights of Snowfall though.
