I remember that cabbage patch doll. The reason they were taken off the shelves is the exact reason I wasnt allowed to have one.
And creepy crawlers. Egh. The kid across the street had the thing to make them. Ew.

I remember alot of those toys. I also remember hearing about how some little girl with long hair got it caught in the doll's mouth as she was holding it at night.
Creepy crawlers were cool, but yeah, they stunk.

And skydancers, I always wanted one of those things when I was little, I loved them.
Press today is so concerned with cool vs. not cool that they're starting to forget good vs. bad. I'm not sure I'll ever be "cool", but I will always tirelessly strive to be "great". - Josh Groban

I said ouch to the poor little boy on the first toy. Also, the Snacktime Cabbage Patch Doll sounds very scary.

Awww, I loved lawn darts. We had two sets and the whole neighborhood came over to play.

The AC Gilbert one cracks me up. My kids practically grew up at the AC Gilbert House in Salem, OR. We still have a membership there and go at least once a year (membership is good for other places, too). Love the Atomic Energy kit, that's really funny (and nerdy!).

    OMG I remember those....

I loved lawn darts, we played it all the time, but I do remember when all the parents suddenly made them go away now I remember why...But damn it, I want some!!!!

I had or knew someone who had almost all of those toys (remeber when we had hand me down toys from family and no one worried if they were safe....ahhh those were the days )

seriously we survived, which apparently is amazing....it built charactor...no whiney kids crying about a scratch, we were just glad to have our eyes when we were done playing

oh hell, I miss those toys

but the gun belt thing, sheesh
