I have had that experience once and it wasn't a good one. Don't you love that managers choose to do that to you when they know you are going on vacation to try to ruin your good time? Don't let them get to you and know that you will be able to get another job when you get back. You didn't deserve to work for those jerks anyways (repeat that to yourself it helped me out)
Look at it as an opportunity. Now you can look forward to finding something better when you get back home
My husband lost a job once when we were on vacation too. Not cool.
But, the job he found after we got home was a MILLION times better than the one he lost. Like the wise DustySage said, you'll find something better.

Karla, a Pink Slip is an old fashioned way of saying "Fired".
