| Re: I just gotta vent... Ok, I've had a day to come to grips with this and I've told my close friends and family and I can bring myself to type it now. My wife was two months pregnant when we woke up yesterday. By the end of the night, we were no longer expecting. It was to be our third and final child. The sadness and bitterness is pretty overwhelming. I'm a fairly resilient person, but this is just kicking my *** mentally. The only good thing about it is that it gave me the strength to sit through a speeding ticket with a level of disinterest that I've never had for things like speeding tickets. Speeding tickets? Car problems? Man, those are just dusts of snow. Let them pass. Save the grief for something more worthy of your grief. As for myself, I'm gonna go do a little more grieving. I'm going to go put Chasing Cars on a loop, lay down with my wife and stare the ceiling to sleep, and if I can muster the mental tenacity to do it, I'm going to be grateful that I haven't lost my entire family. Maybe in a few days, I'll be back to my normal self.
