What kind of crap is that?

I've not watched one game this season. I've not gone to a game yet this season. I'm not buying another ticket or hat or shirt until they change the name back.

    (ok, so I did rant...sorry!)

Did I mention I love baseball????
Yeah, I think the whole name change thing's just this giant lame crock. Seriously, WTF?

But, as I am easily entertained, I am also fiercely loyal to whatever provides me with my entertainment, and the Angels do just that. I love that team. I don't care WHAT they call them, I'll watch anyway.

[QUOTE=ah schucks]I think my health directly relates to the Padres success! I have been healthy all season and we are first in the American League, I get sick for one day and we loose 3 games in our homestand and several players get the flu! Coincedence? Uhh yeah, nothing more! [QUOTE]

    So it's your fault!

No, I'm actually a Giants fan, though I don't hate the Padres. Dodgers can burn and I will dance.

And I go to Cal State Fullerton, so I practically have to like baseball...2004 NCAA champs and number 4 in the country right now!

100% Angels fan here (do i see an Angel Game in Mice Chat future??)

And let's face it guys just because a team has won a BAZILLION WS titles does not make them the best team in the world!!! The Giants are a great team and they deserve the credit they sometimes lack in getting. The A's are a powerhouse too, but just because they have not won in the last few yrs does not mean they suck. The same for the Braves.

The Dodgers on the other hand........whole different story!!!

Other teams I follow but only cause some really hot players play for them:
    Cardinal's (David Eckstein)
    Mariner's (Scott Spezio....drooooooooooooooooooooooollllllllll)

teams that have really good food at their staduim:

Very sad to say....Dodgers.....those hot dogs are the best
I hear SBC park has some GOOD food there too

Teams who have REALLY awesome looking stadiums:
    Cubs
    Tigers
    Giants
    Yankee's (but as a team...no way I can't stand thier cocky attitudes)
Red Sox (see above Yankee comment)

You obviously have not yet seen the new Petco Park in San Diego...arguably one of the newest and most amazing ballparks! Sure to become a classic!

    Think Blue.
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

Why does no one ever say the Metrodome? what it lacks in looks it makes up for in function, super bowl, final four and world series lol.. ok. in all seriousness, I think PNC Park in Pittsburgh looks like one of the nicest of the new ballparks, granted haven't been to a game there or even been to pittsburgh, but heard many good things about it.

I know you gave the Giants love but what about J.T. Snow...I've had a huge crush on him ever since he was an Angel. I always thought I could turn him into a devil. SBC is a great and beautiful park that people can actually find, but I would take Candlestick back any day. If only because of the entertaining fights that broke out when Cuzco's boys came to town. As for the food, you can smell the garlic fries from the BART station and Amichi's Pizza is across the street. Best. Pizza. Ever.

I am waiting for the Giants to show some life... Won't happen without Bonds in the line up... Or without Sabian upgrading the rotation with pitchers better than Charlie Brown wannabees...

I gave up on the A's the moment Mac was traded... I am not hopefull about the new ownership... I think he wants to move the team to Vegas... however, I don't think that the owners will allow it... Too bad they can't build a statium in Sacramento, because I think the team would do very well there...

Yup... Baseball fans by the bay are not happy campers...
