George Lucas gets engaged to longtime girlfriend Mellody Hobson

Star Wars director George Lucas has found his real life princess right here on earth.

The 68-year-old entertainment mogul has gotten engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Mellody Hobson, according to the Huffington Post.

Hobson, 43, has an impressive resume in her own right. She is the president of a successful Chicago-based investment management firm, Ariel Investments LLC. She also regularly appears on ABC’s Good Morning America as a financial contributor.

The couple have been dating since 2006. This will be Lucas’ second marriage (his first wife Marcia Lucas is an Academy-Award-winning editor) and the first for Hobson.
