    Some action photos & videos of production of the reboot Spider-Man happening in downtown Los Angeles past few days (nights). See, there's stuff to see in boring downtown LA =)

    Spider-Man swings into action in Los Angeles

    Last night, the Spider-Man Reboot returned to S. Grand Ave in Los Angeles to shoot another stunt scene.

    During last night’s shoot both Andrew Garfield (who plays Spider-Man) and a stuntman were on location taking turns filming a scene in which Spidey swings over the “New York City” traffic. In the photo above Andrew is climbing the ladder to for a shot on top of the truck while the stuntman can be seen standing next to him in the black jacket.

    We’ve heard that a small second unit may be filming at the same location again tonight too.
    Filming set to move to Universal Studios Hollywood very soon.

    Awesome? *Notice the web hand-made gadgets on the wrists, just like the comic-book.

    ^not the worst thing....we'll it could be worst. At least the costume looks cool.

    I know most of us wanted to see a Spiderman 4 (maybe Venom and Carnage, or Sinister Six)

    But at least they can do Venom RIGHT this time

    Rhys Ifans Sports Early Stages Of The Lizard In 'Spider-Man' Photos

    By Andrew Weymes on May 10, 2011
    Either Rhys Ifans has a bit of a skin problem or the new set photos below from The Daily Mail show off the early stages of his character, Dr. Curt Connors transforming into the formidable Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) foe, the Lizard. A couple of days back, Ifans was caught on set wearing a green wrap on his arm, presumably so that his arm can be removed in post-production as his character is a known amputee.

    Below the two photos of Ifans is a candid shot of Sally Field walking through the set. It comes courtesy of Splash. She plays the aunt of Peter Parker in the film, May Parker. Her husband, Ben Parker is played by Martin Sheen. Also in the cast are Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Campbell Scott as Richard Parker, Embeth Davidtz as Mary Parker, and Irrfan Khan as Nels Van Adder. 'The Amazing Spider-Man' is directed by Marc Webb, and hits theaters next summer on July 3, 2012.

    I'm looking forward to this film very very very much! I liked 500 days of Summer and I think Andrew Garfield and Rhys Ifans are fantastic actors so this movie really should deliver!

    Another origin story? I just got a whole lot less excited for this.

    You know it's a "reboot," right? =}

    I like the approach of the original teaser to the Sam Raimi Spider-Man...

    I remember the reaction the audience got while waiting to see The Mummy Returns, the crowd went wild.
