It SORTA looks good. I hate that there is more that I don't like than like though. Captain America's uniform looks like crap. Why does he have his mask off? Why doesn't Hawkeye have a mask? Lastly, I hate, hate, hate, Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury! I'll wait to see it on cable.

    Re: 'The Avengers' MiceChat reviews

I had a great time yesterday morning at The Avengers Fans Advance Screening, what a terrific ride!

To have the film's co-writer and director Joss Whedon, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige with 'The Avengers' co-stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill) and Clark Gregg (S.H.I.E.L.D MVP Agent Phil Coulson) make a pre-screening appearance was the excellent OPRAH moment for nerds!

There are so many genuine pleasures in this film including the reteaming of Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo, so perfect together in David Fincher's 'Zodiac' each of their scenes loaded with tension and humor. Here they meet as Tony Stark's Iron Man and Dr. Bruce Banner respectively. With apologies to previous feature film Hulks Eric Bana and Edward Norton THIS is finally The Incredible Hulk the character and audiences deserve and have been waiting for. His humanity and SMASHtastic humor is worth the price of admission alone! All of the actors seem to be having an absolute ball stretching their character's legs particularly Chris Evans's Steve Rogers (Capitan America), Chris Hemsworth's Thor andthe indespensible Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson. The hand-to-hand fight scene between Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) is not to be believed. And the film features some fabulous cameos, sight gags and set-up for future franchise glory. The only disappointment comes from this movie's inevitable end.

As if having contributed to 'Toy Story' and creating 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer', 'Angel', 'Firefly', 'Serenity', 'Dr. Horrible' and 'Dollhouse' wasn't enough, Joss Whedon finally will have the big screen success he deserves.

Does the Hulk talk? He never has in any movie or the TV series.

There should be a sticky thread called "This Day in Disney History." The company has a long history and this would be a good way to acknowledge it. Walt was born 112 years ago; that's quite a chunk of American history and culture.

    Re: 'The Avengers'

I’ve confirmed that Warner Bros/DC Comics’ The Dark Knight Rises will debut its 3rd trailer when Marvel’s The Avengers opens on May 4th.

“Yes, our 3rd trailer will be out with The Avengers,” a Warner Bros exec just confirmed to me. “We see this placement as a good strategic decision. We always want our trailers to be seen with films that people want to see — and a lot of people will be going to The Avengers!”

The pairing was first teased by the Warner Bros Exhibitor website, and spotted by NolanFans.com. Both 2D and 3D conventional showings of The Avengers (as well as 2D and 3D IMAX showings) will be playing the TDKR trailer.

Samuel L. Jackson's contract with Marvel signed in 2009 has him appearing in 9 movies as Nick Fury (a couple have already been released).

I have one question about the movie: Who plays John Steed and Miss Emma Peel?
